Our Chief Commercial Officer Marcel van Berkel participated as a speaker at the ABLC Conference in Washington on 17 February.

He announced the acquisition by GFBiochemicals of Segetis’ assets and intellectual properties, which include a pilot plant in Minnesota and over 250 worldwide patents.

Marcel van Berkel also focused on the use of levulinic acid and its derivatives to improve the end-properties of a wide range of products.

ABLC is the largest gathering of advanced bioeconomy senior leadership, focusing on advanced low carbon fuels, chemicals, and materials, advanced foods, seed and trait development, crop & soil technology, drones & robotics, and waste mitigation.

This year edition took place in Washington from the 17^th to the 19^th of February.
